The Analog Custom Shop Quad-Mode Phase Shifter Guitar Effects Pedal, from the Akai Professional, is one of the more esoteric pedals in the product line. Phase includes A and B frequency toggle-switches and a Rate knob in heavy-duty polished stainless-steel housing. True-bypass switching and three control mechanisms provide precision control.Phase Shifter provides an instantly recognizable swirling sound. The Rate knob sets how often the oscillation effect waveform repeats as well as the resulting pitch and depth of the signal. The A and B frequency toggle-switches can be set in four different ways. Combining these four settings with subtle changes to the Rate knob results in a range of lush, atmospheric ambience that swirls around as much or as little as desired.Phase is powered by the included 9-volt battery or 9v AC adapter (sold separately).As with previous Akai Professional guitar pedals like the E2 Headrush and SB1 Deep Impact Bass Synth, the Analog Custom Shop line is a collection of pedal effects designed to exacting standards, using the highest quality components.
