The ADX 20i is a pre polarized condenser microphone designed to handle a wide variety of clip on applications. The ADX20i is sonically superior as well as aesthetically pleasing and is ideally suited for saxophone, trombone, trumpet and other brass instruments. With a smooth uniform response over a frequency range of 40 Hz 20 kHz, the ADX 20i provides a rich, warm sound not typical of microphones this size. It is machined from solid brass and has a low reflective black e coat finish. The ADX 20i
operates on phantom power 9 52 volts with the preamp module provided APS 910. It may be used in battery mode with optional phantom power adapter APS 911. The ADX 20i can be utilized with a wireless system. Depending on the brand of wireless and the connector configuration of the instrument body pack, the ADX 20i connector would need to be modified accordingly. Low noise electronic circuitry, and balanced low impedance output allow for interference free performance even with long cable runs. Use the Audix clip-on ADX20i-P for miking saxophone and other brass instruments. The ADX-20i-P has a uniformly controlled cardioid polar pattern. This provides excellent isolation and feedback control on stage. You also get natural sound reproduction at very close distances.The Audix ADX-20i-P microphone delivers smooth and accurate response over a frequency range of 80Hz–20kHz, and it is lightweight, compact and simple to use. Housed in an aluminum ring and isolated by means of a rubber shock mount system, the Audix ADX-20i-P comes with the gooseneck clip with spring tension clip (MC-20i) for easy mounting to an instrument's bell. Audix makes a number of optional accessories for the ADX-20iP microphone, so you can use it on a mic stand for a wider variety of applications.The Audix ADX20i-P clip-on mic is designed for use with a microphone cable. The ADX20i-P condenser microphone operates on phantom voltage of 9-52 Volts and is supplied with a phantom power adapter (APS-910), 6' integrated mic cable, gooseneck clip (MC-20i) and carrying pouch.
