16IIs audio out jack is mono or stereo. This prevents shorting out one side of the mixers stereo output electronics and makes it easier for the user to implement mono devices with the Personal Monitor Mixing System. When a mono plug is detected in the output jack, the circuit automatically pans the right channel information so that the individual channel balance remains accurate. Several new software enhancements have been added in response to input from users around the world. A new solo mode, called Held Solo, allows the user to remain in Solo mode and make channel selections without returning to Mix mode. A Global Trim function provides an easy way to decrease the volume by 6dB on all sixteen mixer channels simultaneously by using a simple button combination. Also, the A 16II Personal Mixer now has the ability to display the last selected mix Preset, a handy way to help the user when updating and saving Presets. The A 16II Personal Mixer is compatible with the new AVIOM16o Y1 Yamaha Output Card, an expansion card for Yamaha digital mixers supporting the mini YGDAI format. The AVIOM16o Y1 card allows Aviom A 16II Personal Mixers to be directly connected to the Yamaha digital consoles.
