As many of you are aware, Steve Smith is one of the worlds most revered drummers. With the group Journey, Steve established himself as a tour de force groove master. His drumming was heard on such hit songs as Dont Stop Believin and Separate Ways. He even played drums on Bryan Adams smash Heaven. What most musicians heard in his playing was a lot more than straight grooves; his drum parts were compositions! Not too busy, but very interesting and anything but ordinary. RHYTHMIC JOURNEY was co produced by David Frangioni and Doug Rogers, who collectively have produced many top rated sample collections Bob Clearmountain Drums 1 & 2, DanceIndustrial 1 & 2, Funky Ass Loops, Smoov Grooves, Phat & Phunky, Steve Stevens etc.. Needless to say the grooves on RHYTHMIC JOURNEY are flawless and sound phenominal pre mixed by Elson, Frangioni and Rogers.
