Epiphone Prophecy Futura Electric GuitarThe roots of the Futura date back to the late 50s but theres nothing old about these guitars. The Futura Custom EX starts with a Mahogany body with a highly figured quilt Maple top. The neck is Mahogany and glued in using a long neck joint for excellent sustain and strength. An active EMG 81 pickup is in the bridge position while an EMG 85 compliments it in the neck position. Equipped with Epiphones new LockTone stopbartune o matic system for added sustain and re stringing ease, the new Futura Custom is designed to bring out the shredder in all of us. Controls are neck volume, bridge volume, master tone and 3 way pickup selector. As with all Prophecys, it features Epiphones new SpeedTaper neck with a very slim D profile and satin finish for fast performance and smooth feel. Case not included.
