One of Gibson's Original Acoustic Instruments most affordable hand crafted mandolins is the A 9, A style mandolin. The Gibson A 9 has a Sitka spruce top and eastern hard maple back, sides and neck; top bound black binding; nickel plated hardware; a Gibson script headstock inlay; and satin vintage brown finish. The hand fitted dovetail neck joint, hand tuned tone chamber and micro thin finish assure a rich, powerful sound that is characteristic of higher end mandolins. The A body style is comfortable
to play and allows easy access up the neck. Also includes a hardshell case.
