Recognizing the need to provide the aspiring drummer an easy, economical and complete Gretsch drumset choice, the Blackhawk kit has been updated to include a full hardware pack. The hardware package is double braced and includes chain drive bass drum and hi hat pedals, a snare stand and boom cymbal stands. This Gretsch Blackhawk kit comes with BasswoodPoplar shells to project a full, resonant tone, neatly finished in a gloss wrap. The Hardware is a piece of crap. The bass drum pedal and the high hat stand pedal both broke within the first year of use. The Snare is good as are the toms but the bass drum is lacking. This is an ok beginner set but be prepared to spend a couple hundred on replacement hardware. |
