LP Classic Wood Tumbadora Conga 12 12 InchLP Classic Model Congas were the first wood congas introduced by LP. They have become the standard by which other wood congas are judged. The specially selected, kiln dried, environmentally friendly Siam Oak construction adds to the drums overall warm tone, while the unique shell contour brings out the drums mid and high sound ranges. Topped with hand picked natural rawhide heads, these 30 tall congas feature Comfort CurveR II Rims, 516 diameter tuning lugs and reinforced LP HeartR Side Plates, each secured with a backing plate. A layer of fiberglass is added to the inside upper portion of the shell, near the side plates, to provide additional strength. LP Classic Model Congas are available in a variety of wood finishes. Each comes complete with LP ProCare Integraded Shell Protectors that prevent the side plate hardware from marking or damaging adjacent drums. This new compact design offers maximum protection without detracting from the drums beauty. They also include an accessory pouch, a tuning wrench and LP Lug Lube. This is a single 12 12 conga.
