Mapex Meridian SM 6 Piece Drum SetNewly designed in 2009, Mapex Meridian Maple Studioease Drum Sets with Hardware represent a new level of quality and functionality in affordable, mid level, all maple kits. Featuring redesigned lugs and the all new, lightweight ITS Mounting System Isolated Tom Mounting System, the Meridian Series will blow you away with its bright and resonant maple shells and beautiful lacquered or covered finishes. Each Meridian drum kit is also equipped with the new and improved line of Mapex 700 Series Hardware. The new Isolated Tom Mount System is significantly lighter in weight and lower in profile than before and is more easily mounted and adjusted. Additionally, the unique Mapex off the shell design and single point of contact lugs distribute tension evenly across the shell for even better resonance and sustain. In addition to the lacquer finishes, Mapex Meridian Maple also comes in three beautiful Delmar Sparkle Wrap finishes Platinum, Indigo and Burgundy Sparkle. These durable, yet dazzling coverings are ideal for players that are constantly on the move. Cymbals sold separately.
