Pearl PFP105E The design of the Pearl piccolo is based on the legendary Hans Reiner piccolos, which are sought by professional players the world over. Compared to other instruments in this price range and, in fact, some more expensive piccolos, the Pearl model produces a well centred sound with good intonation. This piccolo is so good that many professional orchestral players use a Pearl 105 as their second instrument. Granitites is a recent discovery in terms of musical instruments a form of plastic, it has the tonal qualities of Granadilla wood the traditional wood used for making piccolos, and a large dynamic range, along with precise pitch. It is also impervious to temperature fluctuations, meaning it wont crack, and ensuring a consistent performance every time.
