In addition to all the features the TASCAM CD X1500 has, the TASCAM CD X1700 also has a larger jogwheel, reverse playback, onboard multi effects, Key Original master tempo in all tempo ranges up to 100, and a dedicated 10 second sampler on each side of the controller. The TASCAM CD X1700 can also playback MP3 encoded CDs with the ability to pitch bend and change tempo of the MP3 files. The CD X1700 also supports the TTM 1 scratch controller that allows you to control the CD audio with many popular DJ turntables. The CD X1700 makes a great, powerful mixerCD player combo package with the TASCAM X 17 mixer. These two pieces combined are perfect for any nightclub install or professional mobile DJ rig.
