With a longer 27 inch scale length it is factory tuned from B to B, offering players a lower, deeper tonal range at normal string tension. The baritone not only suits players who have a lower vocal range, but it adds a different sonic texture that blends well with other instruments to create a rich ensemble sound. This 8 string incorporates two additional octave strings that are paired with the third and fourth strings. The octave strings brighten up the voice without creating an overly octave y 12 string sound.
