These innovative drums continue to be Tocas best selling djembes because of their sound, their lightweight feel, and their professional level quality.To celebrate this milestone, Toca has created the limited edition 5th Anniversary Freestyle 14 Djembe SFDMX 14GSB. Simply put, this is a drum like no other drum seen before. Over 70 of the seamless synthetic shell is covered with a beautiful glass inlay designed by local craftsmen on the island of Bali. The top and bottom portion of the drum is hand painted with an embossed Red Metallic finish. The rim and tuning rods are finished in a subtle black powder coating. The overall result is one of the most stunning works of visual art ever applied to a musical instrument.As beautiful as it is, however, the 5th Anniversary Freestyle Djembe is far from just a showpiece. In keeping with its Freestyle series heritage, its a high quality, professional level drum. Along with its resonant synthetic shell, it features an extended collar hoop for maximum tone range, and a lightweight but efficient bolt tension system for easy and consistent tuning.
